"Be Wise" Menu

Have you ever asked the big question: What’s my purpose in life? I feel like it is a really important question to ask because if you don’t know, how can you make choices that will serve your best and highest needs and desires? If you would like to know the answer to this question, there is a process whereby you can learn something about yourself that could enhance the rest of your life.

Set aside some alone time, light a candle to create the mood, and have a pad of paper, some crayons and some large blank paper. Using the process of relaxation described in this section. When you are totally relaxed, ask God, or Goddess, or any guides, spirits or angels that you trust to join you. Sit at a table or on the floor and begin to draw your purpose. Don’t judge it, don’t think it into being, just allow it to bubble up.

When you feel you have completed your drawing, even if it is only squiggles, begin to write either next to your drawing or on the pad of paper. Write the words: My purpose in life is... then allow whatever to come forth. All this allowing is letting your deeper wisdom, your inner knowing, your intuition to speak. So much of our oughts, shoulds, family expectations, etc. get in the way and keep us from hearing that inner voice that wants to stand on a mountain top and shout our message to the world. World, this is who I am, this is what matters to me, this is what will give meaning to all that I do. continued
