What is the Point of a Spritual Path?
I’ve spent a lot of time, study, money, energy getting to where I am today but the journey has been haphazard. And where am I, exactly, I’ve been wondering. I’d like to share what I came up with with you so you might glean some benefit. Basically, I’ve come to a place where I’m reminded on a regular basis what an amazing thing it is to be human, on this planet, at this point in time. I’m grateful and in awe. Every time I’m conscious of a tree, I mean when I give a tree, or a flower, or a sensation of love my full attention, I go into a state of wonderment and gratitude. Wonderment that that thing exists at all, wonderment at how it got here, wonderment that I am here to consciously contemplate what it means. To me, that is a spiritual moment.
I'm one of the happiest people I know. I have worked hard to let go of those limiting thoughts, ideas, beliefs and patterns that used to keep me from being fully happy. Now, my happiness is a daily prayer, the link between me and my higher consciousness, where God resides within me. It is a simple idea, but not always that easy to pull off.

What’s the point of a spiritual path? Where is it you want to get to? Some talk about enlightenment, some talk about nirvana. But those things are hard to come by, and even when you get there, they are fleeting, momentary. I changed the name of my web site from EverEvolving to Alive With Love for several reasons but one was to add a spiritual section. It is an important part of my journey and I wanted to share with others in a hope that I will inspire you to want to enhance the spiritual side of your being.
