You’ve heard that all you must do is set goals then go out and make it happen. Well, if it was that easy, a whole lot more people would be on top of that proverbial mountain. It’s not that easy, but it IS easier than you think. This seminar is designed to help you gain the confidence to believe you can do it, then create a plan and make that plan work to help you achieve your goals. (Just a note: if you’re looking for or wanting to improve a relationship, then wait for Seminar #4.)
Building confidence--
1) First, I’d like you to make a written list of your best attributes. (On ALL the lists I’m going to ask you to do, categorize them into three main topics: BEING (how you would like to be); DOING (what you would like to do); and HAVING (meaning material things.) Then, within those three topics, you can categorize according to what’s unique about you. What are your physical, spiritual, educational attributes, your talents and your personality traits? Do you have shiny hair, green eyes, a strong connection to a higher power, a knowledge of plants, an ability to play the piano or an easy laugh? Write everything down. Keep writing until you think you’re done, then write some more. Look back at times in your life when you felt successful, smart, capable. Even if it never happened again, but for that one moment, in the 5th grade, when you stood up in front of the whole class and made your presentation and felt like you were capable of anything.
