Thoughts on Love Swami Muktananda
Page 4
When you experience real love, you get into a state which is beyond words.
Your tongue doesn't function any longer and you aren't able to say anything to anyone.
You are filled with a joy that goes beyond all emotions.
This inner love, which is real love, is so absorbing that you remain engrossed in it.
It is so beautiful that, having attained it, you are unlikely to abandon it.
You are nothing but a flame of love.
To attain love, you have to become love.
Only a lover can attain love.
If you remain different from love you will never attain it.
Love pervades the world. It is in all activities, in all skills. It is in whatever you relish. Yet to experience the complete love, the love which is of the form of nector, you have to go deep inside.
When you meet a friend after a long time and embrace him, you close your eyes and go within, and for a fraction of a second you feel joy within yourself.
That joy is nothing but a shadow of the inner love--the love of the Self.
