1. THE EMAIL FIASCO: WHAT I LEARNED...

For those of you who were on my mailing list a few months ago when you started getting unsolicited messages from each other, here are some insights that I gained from the experience. Go here.

2. OUR NEW PARTNERSHIP

There's a great lady in Arkansas who used to be my webmaster. When I learned how to manage my site by myself we parted ways. We've never met but always felt close to each other. Well, we reconnected recently and we've partnered up. AdoringYou.com is her web site. You've probably gone to her site to send out cards. She's created an amazing assortment of cards for all occasions and they're really beautiful. We're going to intermingle our content, create new content, and help each other spread the word. Visit her at AdoringYou.com and send out a card to someone you care about and check out her other fun goodies. Be sure and bookmark her site for future enjoyment and tell all your friends. Women helping women is what we're about.

3. LOVE: AN IMPORTANT SIGN OF CHARACTER

You won't believe what I was thinking about at 2 and 3 a.m. in Sweden a while back. It has to do with how love and character are connected. To read this article go here.

4. THREE GOOD BOOKS:

A. Why Men Won't Commit
I was sent this book by the publisher and it's been sitting on my desk for too long. I finally picked it up and instantly became captured by the author's insights. I think you will find it quite fascinating. To learn more click here.

B. Seabiscuit
This was the book that my book club put on our list last March, before we knew there would be a movie. When I finished it I went directly to see the movie. The movie was great and I recommend it highly. I also recommend the book because it is so well written, the characters are so well developed, and the details that can't possibly be put into the movie are absolutely fascinating. I loved it. C. East of Eden
I read this last year for my book club and was blown away. I was so excited that I put it on the Alive With Love home page. If you never read another novel, you should read this one. There's a reason why it is a classic and why Oprah chose it as the reason to bring back the book club. To learn more click here.

5. WHAT DOES ALIVE WITH LOVE MEAN?

As many of you know, the name of my web site was previously AlluringYou.com. Love and romance is great but I wanted to offer more to the thousands of women who visit my site each day. I searched for a name that would encompass more of the total woman but found nothing. Then I realized that Ever Evolving had been my d.b.a. for many years and was the perfect title for what I wanted to share with you. Here's what it means to me: click here

6. FLIP FLOPPED

My hair is a constant source of angst, frustration, intimidation, and occasionally, oh yes, joy and exhilaration. Maybe you're one of those women who can relate. You know those special days when your hair turns out good. How clever, funny, and sparkly you feel. You're sure everyone notices. When your closest friends and family members don't say anything you wonder what tragedies they must be harboring to have been blind to your bejeweled crown. Only someone who was totally wrapped up in earthshaking matters could have missed it. Continue here

7. A SPECIAL PLACE IN THE SUN

I have a friend who owns a lovely hotel in the Caribbean that I know you would love. The owner, a very special man named Claudio is the ultimate host who has created a very special place. You can learn about Hotel Angela here.

8. MELANIELEE.COM - GREAT RECIPES AND COOKING ADVICE

I listen to KTLA talk radio out of Los Angeles when I can get it, and on the unpeak time slots, a woman named Melanie Lee has a fun food show. Great advice and recipes. I thought you might want to check it out. click here
