a. From a friend:
Because of her breakup she takes an assignment to go to Paris to interview Bisset on her “charm school” where she fixes up women to marry millionaires. Intending to do a real hatchet job, she finds herself Jacqueline’s best pupil ever. It’s a delightful movie that I’ve shared only with my girlfriends. My husband has benefited from it greatly, but won’t be watching it! ‘-) Keep the good stuff coming, Kara.
b. Now for my recommendation.
Getting Engaged Soon? "We all want to be loved and respected for what we really are--well-meaning but imperfect." Unknown 4. Christmas Gift For Your Girlfriends One of the women in the Men Made Easy Online Women’s Support group mentioned this book to the group. The title is Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts and it's all about how important it is that we include pleasure in our lives. I wish I had written it. I went over to Amazon.com to find out more and I ordered 7 copies for my girlfriends and one for me. I have it listed in my Beauty Books section but here is the direct link to the book on Amazon.com: Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts
5. From Someone In the Men Made Easy Yahoo! Online Women’s Support Group
Hello everyone, “How does one become a butterfly?” she asked pensively. “You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.” I read this and it just hit me. We are all capable of becoming a beautiful butterfly, free to fly in our lives, but how many of us, no matter how much we are sick of the way things are, want things to be better, or things to change in our lives.... how many of us are too scared to give up our identities as ‘caterpillars’? After all, we’ve been living the way we have for probably many years if not all of our lives. Maybe we have grown too accustomed to ‘less’ in our life. So to me, I guess the key lies in us coming to a place where we are willing to give up the ‘old’ ways that we have been living and surviving. Once we come to that place in our hearts and minds, I think only then are we truly free and capable of becoming the beautiful, and empowered women we were created to be.
Sincerely, I wish all of you a holiday season filled with love, friendship, good times, and lots of angel kisses. Please feel free to forward this to all of your online friends.
