A Proud and Happy Fellow
A young friend invited me to sushi a few weeks ago, excited to share something he knew I'd be interested in. He explained that since his girlfriend lives two states away, and it had been a couple of months since they'd seen each other, he found himself "coming" a lot quicker than he wanted whenever they had sex. It was quite frustrating for him.
What he wanted to share with me was how he solved the problem. I told him I'd pass on the tip.
After she left he practiced slowing things down. The novel thing about his approach was that he did it while he was masturbating. The next time they were together, he'd solved his problem.
I suspect that the only time a man tries to forestall ejaculating, for his own pleasure as well as his partner's, is while he's with her. That's a pretty intense time to be practicing.
It makes a lot of sense for a man to practice slowing things down when he's alone, without all that other stimulation and distraction. I've told women for years to practice masturbating to determine what they like, what works, and to orgasm more easily. It never occurred to me that men could use masturbation for practice. Something to think about.
